One who blazes a trail, in this case most literally. With a tail aflame, this fox leads the way, through any circumstance, clearly lighting the path for all to see and follow.

“Ezekiel 1:5-12 part 2”
Acrylic on Canvas
H18” W14”
Part 2 of a 4 part series. “Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and a brightness was all around it and radiating out of it’s midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance….” The second face was of a lion!

“The Climb”
Acrylic on Canvas
H11” W14”
One of my first official pieces. One of my daughters asked me to paint a bear, and this was the result. A bear cub for my bear cub.

“Lazy Day’s”
Acrylic on Canvas
H16” W20”
I did this piece for my nephew at the bequest of my brother in law. I thought a jaguar at rest was fitting. I love the idea of big cats relaxing. They look so peaceful and yet we know the power they contain that can be brought to bear in a moment. This one’s for you Calvin, Love uncle Jason.

“Robin’s Flight”
Acrylic on Canvas”
H16” W20”
I’ve tried to capture the beauty and simplicity of a bird in flight, while keeping the painting simple at the same time. Robin’s hold a special place in the hearts of my family, so this now becomes a gift from my family to yours.
